The Great Pumpkin Paddle

The Great Pumpkin Paddle occurred Sunday night just before Halloween at Foster City lagoon.

I've never done a night paddle before and it was a good excuse to use my sail again, for the 2nd time.

We started at the red thumbtack, paddled to the sailboat, paddled to the blue marker, and back to the red thumbtack.

We waited around for the sun to go down.

I was having a great time sailing back and forth.

We paddled back past our put-in and we could see the moon just above the bridge by the lamp post.

Great shot of the kayakers underneath the full moon. Wind was calm in this area.

Love this shot. You can barely see another kayaker (Kevin) with his sail up on the right. We had a good wind blowing us back.

I enjoyed this night paddle immensely. Will have to do it more often, at night.

Glad to have you with us, Seek. Foster City is a safe and really good place to kayak. This was my first night paddle as well and it went ery well. All pulled together and we had a good time without any mishaps. I only wish the moon were even bigger!
